My Neighbor Parked His Car on My Lawn — The Surprise Waiting for Him the Next Morning Was Priceless
I woke up on Saturday expecting a quiet morning with coffee on my porch, but instead I looked out the front window and nearly dropped my mug. My neighbor’s SUV was sitting right in the middle of my front lawn, its tires leaving deep tracks across the grass I’d spent months taking care of. There was plenty of room on the street, so there was absolutely no reason for him to park there except to prove that he

could. It wasn’t the first time he’d crossed a line, but it was easily the most disrespectful thing he’d done.
I walked straight over to his house and rang the doorbell. He opened the door smiling before I even said a word, as if he’d already been expecting me. When I demanded that he move his car immediately, he laughed, shrugged his shoulders, and told me I was making a big deal out of “”a little grass.”” Then, in the most sarcastic tone imaginable, he grinned and said, “”Relax… I promise I won’t do it again.”” It was obvious he wasn’t sorry at all. He was enjoying every second of watching me get angry.
I could have kept arguing with him, threatened to call the police, or started a shouting match right there in the driveway. Instead, I simply smiled, told him to have a nice day, and walked back into my house. He probably thought he’d won and that I’d finally given up, but the truth was I had already decided he was going to learn the lesson another way. If I had woken up to an unexpected surprise on my lawn, then it only seemed fair that he should wake up to one of his own… except mine was going to be far more memorable. So, that night, after the entire neighborhood had gone quiet, I stepped outside and finally put my plan into motion.
